Students from around the world join Arhanta trainings to gain practical teaching skills and authentic yoga education.
i am only a few hours into this course but as my second online course with Arhanta Academy i can already see this is so worth the investment. I have always been drawn to restorative/therapeutic yoga and this course will compliment my classical hatha YTT and also my own practice and wellbeing.
I already followed more than 1 online course at Arhanta Yoga & also was at the ashram in India in 2017.
This school is highly recommended if you choose for the classic styles of yoga out of the Indian tradition.
That's in the first place why I've chosen for Arhanta Yoga.
Even more important is the way how the courses are teached. A big 5 stars to all the teachers that I had so far!
I have choose this course without knowing much about Restorative Yoga and discovered quickly what an important practice this is. Especially for me, as I prefere a slow paced Yoga practice. And it cannot get more relaxed than Restorative and also generally a feeling good state of being. The teacher, Lucia is very good &professional, explaining everything clearly. She is also very pleasant and kind.
Restorative course is as advertised and tailored for you to expand your knowledge and once you have taken the course, to apply what you've learned. You will help yourself and your students relax and also to know that you are not limited to just using this in restorative sessions only, you could use this training to be incorporate in everyday life and in your teachings
The course is very comprehensive and contains good teaching material in the form of a syllabus, but also extensive instructional videos and audio material. I feel very well trained and well equipped to teach restorative yoga with confidence. I can highly recommend this course.
Complete Restorative yoga e course, really professional and study on your own pace. Very content,
Thank you for this wonderful online Restorative Yoga course. The content is very well structured, and I especially enjoyed the many practical videos, which were very informative. The alignment of each asana was always explained in detail. I also liked that there were different sequences on various topics, such as anxiety and stress, migraines, and PMS. I can really recommend the online courses!
I have just completed the online Restorative Yoga TT and I was a great experience! As a teacher of Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga I have found in Restorative Yoga a great opportunity to relax on a daily basis. It was my first online TT course I took and I realized that it´s also a good way to learn. The asanas are well explained and the videos were very helpful. Thanks to the Arhanta Team!
I have just completed the online Restorative Yoga TT and I am so happy about this! Thanks to this TT I have deepened my knowledge and practice. As a teacher of vinyasa yoga, kids yoga and chair yoga, I have found in Restorative Yoga a great opportunity to relax on a daily basis. I see the amazing benefits and I will soon start to teach Restorative Yoga at the yoga schools where I work.
Lucia taught me so much in clear words and video’s. I love all the information in the sections and i was very happy with the layout of the course. Step by step it became increasingly clear.
I can definitely recommandeer this course.
Thank you Lucia 😊
You can see Lucia’s passion for restorative yoga. Really detailed and absolutely inspiring!
I really enjoyed this course and I loved to see Lucia's passion for Restorative Yoga. I have everything I need to teach Restorative Yoga after doing this course.
Thank you Lucia for teaching this course in such a loving clear way!
I am deeply grateful for finding Arhanta Academy and choosing to start my yoga training journey with Lucia. I love the training, the range of information, the explanation, and the demonstration. I can say that with time and practicing more I feel like this knowledge has been still ripening in me and shaping my practice. Thank You! I highly recommend the training with Lucia and Arhanta. Namaste
This Restorative training with Lucia is really taking me to another level in the way I practice yoga on a daily basis.
I'm taking the Restorative Shavasana to other yoga lessons and my students are enjoying the deep relaxation.
Lucia explains everything in detail and she brings her natural kindness in the teachings!
I already did Nidra and Restorative yoga at Arhanta. I had a really good teacher Lucia! She explains everything very well en calm. A really lovely person. Now i can teach Restorative yoga. So cool!
I really enjoyed to do this course. Lucia is an excellent teacher. Lessons, videos, and explanations are well developed. Thanks for this interesting journey!
It was a great course. It took more time than expected, because of the practice of the poses and experiencing by myself what restorative yoga means. But it helped me to learn and now restorative yoga is one of my favorites. Lucia explains everything in a clear way and she responded quickly if I had a question. Thank you so much.
I've always been interested in Restorative Yoga and it's philosophy. I was wandering between Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga, till I learnt somatic embodiment and regulation strategies, I decided to take on this course by Lucia. Teacher Lucia's knowledge on restorative yoga is so inspiring, and she reminds me to take my own speed on learning and practicing.
Fantastic course - couldnt have asked for more.
It was important for me to be able to complete at my own pace. Lucia provided all the information I was hoping to obtain as well as some new ideas that I had not been exposed to practicing restorative yoga, nor in my 200 hour teacher training here in Michigan. It has been an asset to add this training to my teacher toolbox. I am looking forward to adding this style to my classes! Thank you, Lucia
For me, the RY course with Lucia has been a discovery journey and exceeded my expectations. First, as my first online learning experience, and second, in discovering the benefits of RY itself through the intense practice. Clear instructions with diverse forms of teaching (text, videos, voice messages, webinars) and a passionate teacher make all the difference. I highly recommend it..
The class meets all of my expectations and then some. I have appreciated the thoughtfulness behind each lesson and the care taken to create as many variations as possible for restorative yoga. It has truly deepened my understanding of this particular type of yoga, and given me greater insight into how to teach this beneficial practice to others.
I was concerned about doing a 75 hour training online but this course was very comprehensive. The instructor even anticipated questions I had not yet thought of asking. I feel very well prepared to teach restorative yoga and really appreciate all the care she put into this course. It exceeded my expectations.
Very well structured, it gives you all the key and the practice to fall in love with the concept of letting go and to start teaching it to you students.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Frédérique.
I really enjoyed the interesting lessons! Lucia has some much knowledge and is very inspiring. It helped me to develop and grow personally.
I really loved this course because Lucia explains everything in detail and very easy to follow. I am teaching Yin Yoga but have many students who wish to practice a kind of yoga that provides them with even more relaxation. As many of my students suffer from extreme stress the restorative practice will be a great help for them. I highly recommend this course.

I’ve enjoyed taking my time with the course content, which has allowed me to absorb it fully and weave elements of the program into my existing sound‑bathing and somatic movement sessions. The training has given me space to find moments of rest during an incredibly busy period of juggling projects and my PhD. I feel grateful for what restorative yoga has brought into my life and for others too.
