Online Trainings Since 2017

In 2017 we decided to provide online versions of our yoga teacher training as we were getting requests from people who could not travel to our ashrams.

I was intrigued by the outcome, so we created this online version to see where the virtual journey would take us. When we announced it on social media, we were bombarded with negative comments; some believed it was impossible to learn yoga online.

The outcome surprised us all. Within the first six months, more than a thousand practitioners had already enrolled in our online training program.

Hundreds of five-star reviews gave us confidence, and regular feedback helped us refine the online course to make it entirely user-friendly, with added value for our students.

Benefits of Our Online Courses

Added Flexibility and Self-Paced Learning

Our online course allows you to study at your own leisure and schedule your study time to suit your personal routine. Another benefit is that there are no deadlines for completing the course.

Unlimited Access to Online Videos

This is a unique benefit of online learning. You can re-watch the videos at any speed. Allowing you to grasp concepts you could have missed in a class environment.

Unlimited Personal Support

Our online yoga teacher training comes with unlimited teacher support. This means you can contact the teacher for support as often as you need, even after completing the course.

Lifelong Access

Over time we tend to forget details. Our online course gives you lifelong access to log in and review the concepts anytime. All material is yours to keep forever.

More Affordable

Our online course costs less than half of the onsite course. You also save on travel, lodging, and commuting expenses.

Our Core Values

Our Philosophy - Authenticity

At Arhanta, we bring you authentic knowledge from a rich heritage of five generations. You will learn from a teacher who has studied yoga since childhood at traditional Indian Vedic schools. We believe that real yoga is practiced 20% on the mat and 80% in your daily life.

Our Knowledge - Excellence

We keep our yoga practice traditional, but we do not allow tradition to limit us. We continue to study modern, science-based anatomy, physiology, and developments in the fitness and exercise fields, so you receive accurate, evidence-informed knowledge of the highest standard.

Our Approach - Empowering

In reality, the concept of “one alignment for all” can turn up empty results. We believe everyone is unique in their body, mind, and capabilities. Therefore, we teach you how to understand your students individually and provide personalized alignments and adjustments.

Our Commitment - Integrity

We are committed to the success of our students & community. We provide lifelong support, not only during the course but also after you have completed the course. Your success is our triumph.

Our Professionalism - High Standards

At Arhanta, you can be assured of the highest professional standard in training, communication & support. We believe in win-win, so all our courses come with a rock-solid 30-day money-back guarantee.

What's the difference between Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga?

Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga are often described as the same, but there are many differences between the two. Discover what they are in our in-depth blog: Yin Yoga versus Restorative Yoga–What Are the Differences and Similarities?

When does the course start and finish?

You can start your studies immediately after enrollment or begin when it suits you best—you have lifelong access to the course materials. There are also no deadlines. You can complete the training in as little as 8 days or take your time.

To enhance your learning experience, we release content gradually, in a drip method. Most students finish the course in 2-4 weeks while studying part-time, balancing their training with other commitments.

An excellent course to follow if you choose for high level of professional education. Posted 4 months ago

I already followed more than 1 online course at Arhanta Yoga & also was at the ashram in India in 2017.
This school is highly recommended if you choose for the classic styles of yoga out of the Indian tradition.
That's in the first place why I've chosen for Arhanta Yoga.
Even more important is the way how the courses are teached. A big 5 stars to all the teachers that I had so far!

I have just completed the online Restorative Yoga TT and I was a great experience! As a teacher of Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga I have found in Restorative Yoga a great opportunity to relax on a daily basis. It was my first online TT course I took and I realized that it´s also a good way to learn. The asanas are well explained and the videos were very helpful. Thanks to the Arhanta Team!

Excellent teacher training, very informative, complete, great visual and textual explanations Posted 1 year ago

I have just completed the online Restorative Yoga TT and I am so happy about this! Thanks to this TT I have deepened my knowledge and practice. As a teacher of vinyasa yoga, kids yoga and chair yoga, I have found in Restorative Yoga a great opportunity to relax on a daily basis. I see the amazing benefits and I will soon start to teach Restorative Yoga at the yoga schools where I work.

I am deeply grateful for finding Arhanta Academy and choosing to start my yoga training journey with Lucia. I love the training, the range of information, the explanation, and the demonstration. I can say that with time and practicing more I feel like this knowledge has been still ripening in me and shaping my practice. Thank You! I highly recommend the training with Lucia and Arhanta. Restorative journey Posted 3 years ago

It was a great course. It took more time than expected, because of the practice of the poses and experiencing by myself what restorative yoga means. But it helped me to learn and now restorative yoga is one of my favorites. Lucia explains everything in a clear way and she responded quickly if I had a question. Thank you so much.

I enjoyed so much on this course Posted 3 years ago

I've always been interested in Restorative Yoga and it's philosophy. I was wandering between Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga, till I learnt somatic embodiment and regulation strategies, I decided to take on this course by Lucia. Teacher Lucia's knowledge on restorative yoga is so inspiring, and she reminds me to take my own speed on learning and practicing.

This course was completely thorough and professional. Posted 3 years ago

It was important for me to be able to complete at my own pace. Lucia provided all the information I was hoping to obtain as well as some new ideas that I had not been exposed to practicing restorative yoga, nor in my 200 hour teacher training here in Michigan. It has been an asset to add this training to my teacher toolbox. I am looking forward to adding this style to my classes! Thank you, Lucia

Wonderful experience learning about Restorative Yoga with Lucia Posted 3 years ago

For me, the RY course with Lucia has been a discovery journey and exceeded my expectations. First, as my first online learning experience, and second, in discovering the benefits of RY itself through the intense practice. Clear instructions with diverse forms of teaching (text, videos, voice messages, webinars) and a passionate teacher make all the difference. I highly recommend it..

Thorough Instruction Posted 3 years ago

The class meets all of my expectations and then some. I have appreciated the thoughtfulness behind each lesson and the care taken to create as many variations as possible for restorative yoga. It has truly deepened my understanding of this particular type of yoga, and given me greater insight into how to teach this beneficial practice to others.

Highly recommended Posted 4 years ago

I really loved this course because Lucia explains everything in detail and very easy to follow. I am teaching Yin Yoga but have many students who wish to practice a kind of yoga that provides them with even more relaxation. As many of my students suffer from extreme stress the restorative practice will be a great help for them. I highly recommend this course.
