Kids Yoga Curriculum Overview

The course is divided into 3 sections

SECTION A

In SECTION A, you’ll go through detailed information on how yoga can be part of general education, enriching and giving value to every single child, guiding each individual towards the recognition of the main aspects of his own personality; you’ll learn how yoga practice can change according to age, as well as shared goals and differences between yoga and any other physical activity. This information will be beneficial in explaining to parents why they should send their kids to yoga. 

SECTION B

In SECTION B, you’ll learn how to create comprehensive, engaging, fun yoga classes. You will learn to use opening and closing activities, games and fairy tales with asanas, breathing exercises, short meditations and guided relaxations specially designed for kids & teens.

You can put everything into practice using the ready-to-use classes available in this teacher training. At the end of the course, you can create your own kids yoga classes, using your imagination, skills, and ideas within a working and tested model. 

SECTION C

SECTION C is the detailed didactic section, where you’ll find a complete program for children ages 5 to 7 and ages 8 to 10. You'll be presented with a complete program to teach classes for three months!

You will learn to give your students a wonderful yoga experience you’ll design especially for them! And that children are like sponges and probably one day, you’ll be surprised to see them in a child’s pose to feel calm and relaxed or use a breathing exercise to eliminate fear.
