Food at Arhanta

At Arhanta Yoga India, we believe good food is a key part of your yoga journey. Our menu is inspired by Ayurvedic principles—simple, vegan, and sattvic. It's designed to support your practice, nourish your body, and elevate your mind throughout your stay with us.

Yoga-Inspired Eating Plan

Your day starts early with meditation and pranayama, followed by a light Indian breakfast like sweet daliya porridge. Lunch is served just before noon, and we offer healthy snacks throughout the day. Dinner's at 5:30 pm, and we round off each evening with a soothing herbal tea.

Fresh and Local Ingredients

In our kitchen, we're committed to freshness and quality. We use organic ingredients, locally sourced from farmers in our community when possible. You'll enjoy a variety of Indian dishes during your stay, from cauliflower curries with dal to comforting soups and fresh salads.

Enriched by Ayurveda

Ayurveda teaches that food is medicine, and we take this to heart. We encourage students to swap caffeine for herbal teas and fresh, RO filtered water, supporting your body's natural detoxification processes. Meals are also eaten mindfully and in silence. It might feel strange at first, but many students find it enhances digestion and promotes reflection.

Many of our students leave with a new perspective on food and health—it's a transformation we're honored to be part of. So come with an open mind and a healthy appetite.

Note: We're happy to accommodate various dietary needs, including vegetarian diets, intolerances, and food allergies. Just inform us before you arrive, and we'll ensure you're well-catered for.
